Buying Information

Availability / Where to Buy

• The wines shown in our online wine shop are generally not sold at LCBO stores nor through the LCBO website. They are available through our agencies via an LCBO program called "Specialty Services."

• As licensed agencies, Argentum Wine Imports and The Full Wineglass Agency & Imports do not sell alcoholic beverages but arrange for customer purchases from the LCBO.

• Wines are available by the case only. Mixed cases are available.

• Licensed restaurants should call, message or email us. Their purchases involve a licensee discount and are usually ordered offline via email or WhatsApp.

• Private individuals are invited to purchase online through our shop or offline if you prefer. See below!

Purchase Online

• Go to our online wine store.

• Browse or search our selection of wines available to buy online.

• Add case(s) to your cart (aka Buy Now), view your cart (aka open your shopping bag), and click Check Out.

• Fill out the requested shipping details. All online store pages are securely encrypted, keeping your information safe.

• Click "Continue" to be taken to Paypal, where you can choose your method of payment. Credit cards or Paypal are accepted. You don't need to have a Paypal account to pay with a credit card.

• Once you have paid, you will receive a series of emails. The first one may say that your order is "Awaiting Payment" even though you already paid. Don't worry, it's just part of the process, and you'll soon receive an email stating that your order has been fully paid for. You will also get updates when your order status changes to "Processing Order" and "Shipped."

• Your order will arrive by personal delivery or wine courier, depending on location. More info on delivery/shipping

Purchase Offline

• If you prefer to purchase offline, please get in touch.

• If the product is in stock, we can deliver or ship it to you within two to three business days.

• Payment is by credit card prior to delivery. We'll email you an encrypted payment request form. It's just a different way of paying online.

Pricing

• Prices shown do not include the HST; it will be added to all purchases and delivery charges.

• We are required to add a Refundable Bottle Deposit ($0.20 per bottle for wine/spirits) on all purchases. The RBD is included in the price shown.

• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Legalities

• As always, you must be of legal drinking age (19 or older) in order to purchase alcoholic beverages in Ontario.

• Our agencies (Argentum Wine Imports and The Full Wineglass Agency & Imports) do not sell alcoholic beverages but arrange for customer purchases from the LCBO.

• According to LCBO regulations, imported alcoholic beverages available through agents must be purchased by the case (usually a minimum of 6 bottles at a time).

Return Policy

• Within 30 days of purchase, if you encounter a bottle where the wine is corked or otherwise defective, we will exchange it for a new bottle IF you retain the bottle and the remaining defective wine and return it to us. (In other words, don't dump the wine--we need it back!)

• Simply reach out and we'll take it from there.

• Please don't try to get a refund through an LCBO store, as they won't be able to issue one.
